39.4 Inches Across, No Seams
The mat is a single round piece 39.4 inches wide and 1.2 to 1.6 inches thick, with no seam running through the middle for a crawling baby to catch a knee or a hand on.
Ruffle Trim or Plain Edge
Two versions are offered: a lace-trimmed ruffle edge or a plain finish. Both use a 60-count quilted cotton cover over a washed latex cotton filling, and the cover comes off to wash.
How thick is it?
Between 1.2 and 1.6 inches, enough padding for tummy time and early crawling on a hard floor without being so soft that it wobbles underfoot.
Is the cover removable?
The quilted cotton cover comes off and machine washes on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. The inner cushion is spot cleaned rather than washed.
Which version should I choose?
The ruffle has a lace trim around the edge and the plain does not. Size, thickness, filling, and the washable cover are identical between them.
Will it fit in a small room?
At 39.4 inches across it takes up roughly a metre square of floor. It is round rather than rectangular, so it tucks into a corner without a long edge sticking out.
